Une étape douillette, chez des hôtes chaleureux, dans un gîte authentiquement bourguignon.

Quel plaisir d'être si chaleureusement accueillis par nos hôtes qui nous attendaient auprès d'un feu de bois autour duquel ils nous offert un thé bien chaud et réconfortant après une route difficile sous la neige! Nous nous sommes sentis immédiatement très à l'aise. Nous avons discuté à bâtons rompus de multiples sujets, discussions passionnantes que nous n'avons terminées qu'au moment du coucher. Après une nuit très calme dans une belle chambre, un copieux petit-déjeuner nous attendait près de la cheminée où brûlaient de grosses bûches. Nous avons repris la route, en regrettant de n'être que de passage. Nous conserverons un excellent souvenir de cette brève halte au cœur d'une campagne préservée et bucolique.

Lovely old renovated cottage in a quiet rural area, the hosts where exceptional & couldn't do enough for us. Dog friendly & adequate parking but not secure. Evening meal & breakfast good quality & ample (home made)

Lovely building but no restaurant

The location is wonderful and the place is beautifully refurbished. A beautifully maintained ancient building! The owners are kind and friendly and very informal and casual. This is a pet friendly place, perfect for cat lovers!

Fijne plek voor rustmoment op doorreis

Hartelijke ontvangst ..het heerlijke diner terwijl we heel onverwacht besloten om 18.30 hier te logeren en er een uur laten aankwamen. De gastvrouw schudde zo een 3 gangen diner uit haar mouw .. incl heerlijke wijn .. Erg fijne lieve en gezellige gastvrouw en gastheer .. voelde heel warm en eerlijk .. Mooie kamer en badkamer. Mooi uitzicht . Mooie route er naar toe .. fijn doorreis plekje .. fijne gezamenlijke ruimte met openhaard .

Beetje kil met al dat steen binnen, misschien gezellig als de openhaard aan staat, maar anders donker en kil. Oubollig qua inrichting en erg smal bed. Ontbijt was goed maar beperkt. Lieve aardige gastvrouw.

Idéal !

Accueil très sympathique. Nos hôtes nous reçoivent avec simplicité, efficacité, convivialité et "pas de chichi". La table du petit déjeuner est très agréable. Nos hôtes semblent avoir un passé riche d'experiences, d'actions et d'annecdotes.On a l'impression de rendre visite à une famille lointaine. On se sent très bien à la Brevonnière. Merci beaucoup !

The only minor suggestion we have to make is that it would be appreciated if the bathroom towels could be larger - to bring them into line with other accommodation we have experienced in France. However, it was a real privilege to stay at La Brevonniere and we loved its ambience!

This is a wonderful gem nestled in Beaulieu. The hosts are beautiful people in a beautiful place.

That I couldn't stay longer. I was only there for three days. It is well worth staying longer if you have the time. It's a place of tranquillity where you can really disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Bon B & B authentique que le propriétaire a décoré avec beaucoup d'ambiance. Belle nature aux alentours.

Sehr entspannend in ruhiger Umgebung.

Sehr ländliche Umgebung mit hervorragender Luftqualität. Das Frühstück war frisch zubereitet, einfach aber sehr schmackhaft. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und geht auf alle Wünsche ein.

Fijne B&B met vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw. Heerlijk gegeten door de gastvrouw bereide maaltijden in een landelijke omgeving.

A haven in the forest.

A perfect stop for our family. Exceptionally clean room perfect for 5 of us. Plenty of bed options, cot, sheets, duvets, towels, whatever we needed. Beautiful forest views surround the small village. We had a wonderful meal and breakfast was perfect. Very welcoming hosts who clearly devote themselves to their guests. Would recommend.
