La Brevonnière, Bed and Breakfast, is located in Beaulieu, Côte-d'Or, Burgundy

Beaulieu is a little village, situated in Côte-d'Or, Chatillonnais and Burgundy.

Several hiking and mountain biking trails are accessible from the village, and also the sentier des oiseaux. 

In 1006, the village was called Cella de Balloco; in 1154, Bellum Locum, so it became Beaulieu, which means "Pretty village, Nice site".

Surrounded with Rochefort-sur-Brévon, Mauvilly and Montmoyen, Beaulieu is 327 metres altitude. Coordinates Latitude: 47° 43' 38'' North, Longitude: 4° 43' 40'' East.

In Aignay-le-Duc (8 km), you can find a supermarket, a bakery, a bank, the post office, a doctor, a restaurant, another pub, a garage with service station.

The village is in the heart of the National Park of forests.

Beaulieu is located in a hunting/shooting and fishing zone ( the Brevon flows in the garden of La Brevonnière).

Beaulieu is located between  Bourgogne and Champagne : 8 km from Aignay le Duc, 20 km from Châtillon sur Seine, 48 km from Montbard (1 h TGV to Paris), 69 km from Dijon, 280 km from Paris and also 500 km from Bruxelles and 700 km from London, Munich or Amsterdam.

With TGV : Montbard, 4  TGV every day.

With the car : Near motorway A5, exit 23 - Chatillon sur Seine, or motorway A6, exit 23 - Bierre les Semur.
